The Premier plan is Bryte’s most comprehensive travel insurance solution and is available to travellers between the ages of 3 months and 69 years inclusive.
This plan includes cover for COVID-19, pre-existing medical conditions, participation in sports and hazardous activities and a host of inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, visa rejection or delay, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.
Optional additional benefits include additional cancellation cover and cancellation for an unnamed reason *Specific terms, conditions and exclusions apply.

The Jet Set plan is an affordable travel insurance plan and is available to travellers between the ages of 3 months and 69 years inclusive.

Bryte’s Lite plan is designed to provide essential travel cover solutions at a cost-effective rate. The plan provides cover for travellers between the ages of 3 months and 69 years inclusive.
The Lite plan includes cover for COVID-19 and inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.

The Island Hopper plan provides cover when travelling to Mauritius, Maldives, Madagascar, Commores, Seychelles, Reunion, Rodriquez and Zanzibar. It comprises a 1 - 8 day travel plan with the option of extending the travel period beyond 8 days by purchasing cover at a daily rate. Travellers between the ages of 3 months and 69 years inclusive are covered under this plan.
This plan includes cover for COVID-19, pre-existing medical conditions, participation in sports and hazardous activities and a host of inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.

This plan is aimed at groups of 10 people or more who are travelling together on an identical itinerary. Breakaway days are allowed. It offers affordable daily rates and is available to travellers between the ages of 3 months and 69 years inclusive.
The Group plan includes cover for COVID-19, pre-existing medical conditions, participation in sports and hazardous activities and inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, visa rejection or delay, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.

If you purchased your return conveyance ticket with your credit card from one of the below banks, Bryte’s Top Up plan provides cover to supplement the free cover you have. The cover aligns with the banks’ credit card programme ages.
RMB, Clicks, Kulula, FNB (credit cards and Premium cheque cards) – travellers between the ages of 3 months and 70 years inclusive.
Capitec – travellers between the ages of 3 months and 75 years inclusive.
This plan includes cover for COVID-19, pre-existing medical conditions and inconvenience benefits such as cancellation, baggage loss or theft as well as travel delay.

The Business plan is specifically designed for the business traveller who does not engage in manual labour* duties while on their trip. Cover is available for travellers between the ages of 16 years and 75 years inclusive.
You can however apply for cover for manual labour when you buy the Business plan. For manual labour to be covered, you need to advise us when you purchase your travel insurance policy and additional premium will be charged.
The Business plan includes cover for COVID-19, pre-existing medical conditions, participation in sports and hazardous activities and a host of inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, visa rejection or delay, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.
*Manual labour involves physical work including the use, installation, assembly, maintenance or repair of electrical, mechanical or non-mechanical, power tools and industrial machinery, equipment or tools. We exclude cover for construction work, work above 2 storeys or 3 meters, building sites, mines, any occupation involving heavy lifting.

Bryte’s Corporate plan is an annual policy providing cover to the company and authorised travellers. Associated leisure travel is included, provided it is does not exceed 50% of the business trip.
Cover is available to travellers up to the age of 84 years inclusive.
Benefits include emergency medical expenses, including cover for COVID-19, substitute business colleague expenses, infectious and contagious disease test and quarantine cover, cancellation or postponement expenses, travel delay and more.
Optional benefits include cover for personal accident, baggage and political evacuation.

The Vintage plan is designed for travellers between the ages of 70 to 79 years inclusive.

Bryte offers an optional additional benefit to travellers between the ages of 70 and 79 years inclusive to buy back the cardiac, cardiovascular, vascular or cerebrovascular exclusion that applies to all travellers from the age of 70 years old. This optional additional cover is available at additional premium. There are specific terms and conditions that apply to the cover, including the completion of a medical clearance form by your treating medical practitioner or cardiologist, proof of medical aid membership and requires pre-approval by Bryte.
The Golden Years plan is designed for travellers between the ages of 80 to 84 years inclusive.
The Golden Years plan includes cover for COVID-19, infectious or contagious disease test and quarantine costs and inconvenience benefits such as cancellation or postponement, baggage loss, theft and delay as well as travel delay.

The Exclusive Senior plan is designed for travellers between the ages of 85 and 89 years inclusive – one of the highest age limits available. Cover is subject to the completion of a medical clearance form by your treating medical practitioner, a medical aid membership and pre-approval by Bryte

The Youth plan is specifically designed for young travellers, studying or participating in holiday employment* while abroad and is available to travellers between the ages of 16 and 30 years inclusive.
If travelling as a full-time student, and studying at an accredited international institution, the policy will be deemed a multi-trip policy when an annual policy is purchased.
Manual labour is not automatically included in this policy. However, you can apply for manual labour cover when you buy the Youth plan. For cover to be included you need to advise us when you purchase your travel insurance policy and additional premium will be charged.
The Youth plan includes cover for COVID-19, and inconvenience benefits such as cancellation, baggage theft and delay as well as insolvency of a travel supplier or travel wholesaler.

Inbound cover is available for foreign nationals travelling to South Africa and cover is restricted within the borders of South Africa. Cover may be extended to SADC countries upon request, provided that South Africa is the main destination. This plan is available to travellers between the ages of 3 months and 75 years inclusive.

As an Investec credit cardholder, you qualify for up to 90 days’ complimentary travel insurance for international journeys. To qualify for complimentary travel insurance, your card must be used at the point of sale or by using the online credit card facility. You do not qualify for complimentary travel insurance if you paid for your return travel ticket(s) with Electronic Funds Transfer, cash or by using another bank card.
You do not qualify for complimentary benefits when you enter South Africa on an inbound journey. However, you can buy the optional inbound benefit plan.
Complimentary travel insurance is available to travellers up to the age of 79 years inclusive when the insured journey begins and ends in South Africa.
The complimentary travel insurance does not include cover for any pre-existing medical conditions, hazardous activities and adventure sports and may not include cover for inconvenience benefits such as loss or theft of baggage, cancellation, baggage and travel delay.
